Identiv has entered a definitive agreement to sell its IoT business, including its European R&D hub and manufacturing subsidiaries, to Trackonomy Systems in exchange for $50 million in preferred equity. This divestiture allows Identiv to pivot toward high-margin security software while providing Trackonomy with the specialized RFID production capacity needed to scale its vertical asset-tracking solutions.
